Salem Maternity Photographer - beautiful family maternity session! LGBTQIA+

I’ve been photographing this couple since they were engaged and I have loved watching their family grow. The are now a family of four (I’m just way behind on blogging) and their two kids are so darn cute! Anyway, we got some beautiful photos at Deepwood Museum & Gardens (formerly Deepwood Estate) during golden hour.

Salem Portrait Photographer -adorable Fall session with a VW bus!

I had so much fun decorating Ginger (my 1973 bus) for Fall. I mean, she’s the perfect color, so I had to. I also had a blast photographing Jessica and Lindsay with her! No, I will not be decorating my bus for Christmas, but I might offer fall minis with her next year (fall minis are all booked up for this year)!

Salem Oregon Family Photographer - at home anniversary session (lgbtqia+)

I always have the best time with Mike and Cory. We all laugh SO much! I did their engagement session, at their previous home, a few years back (shortly before photographing their wedding). I met their dogs, they played an 80s board game, made cocktails, took a walk, and listened to music. It was adorable. Since their wedding, they purchased a new home, which is every bit as quirky and awesome as their old house. Oh, and Cory went from being a Mr. to a beautiful Mrs.

Anyway, we thought it only fitting that we do their anniversary session at their new home (well, these were taken pre-Covid, so it’s not so new anymore!). We, of course, included their pets (Martha, Lucky, and Panther) in the session too.

Oregon LGBTQIA+ Senior Portrait Photographer - Matt, Class of 2020

In August of 2019, I traveled to Nebraska to do senior portrait’s for my friend’s daughter (you can see some of those photos by CLICKING HERE) . While there, I also met and photographed Matt, who happened to be the aforementioned senior’s best friend. This young adult is well spoken, funny, intelligent (currently at college on an academic scholarship), and really just a nice and easy going person to be around.

Matt is trans, uses he/they pronouns, and is part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Incorporating his rainbow umbrella was totally a given. I mean, an umbrella AND rainbows AND a prism?! Yes, please!
