Oregon Coast Boudoir Photographer - outdoor session with LGBTQ+ couple!

Hope (she/her) and Asil (they/them) decided to book a couples boudoir session for their 10th wedding anniversary. They had planned a weekend getaway to the Oregon coast and asked if I would be interested in photographing a woodsy outdoor session. I don’t think Asil even finished the question before I blurted out, “OMG, yes!!” Haha.

I took a day trip to the coast ahead of time to do some location scouting and found the PERFECT spot! It was woodsy and mossy, with a Twilight vibe.

We were all mentally prepared for some horrible Winter weather, but we totally lucked out! It was really cold, BUT the sun was shining! With no wind or rain, we didn’t have anything to complain about (and eventually we got used to the cold)

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - cozy cabin + coffee + flannel

This is one of the many blog posts that I lost, when my website crashed a few years ago. With the current weather conditions (snow, freezing rain, ice), it feels fitting to share this kickass session that I did in Canby a few years back. Tiffany is one of my long-time clients, who I’m confident I’ll be friends with for the rest of my life. She’s awesome and I adore her.

Oregon Coast Boudoir Photographer - Outdoor Session, with an LGBTQIA+ couple

I think our initial conversation went something like this…

Asil: We’re an LGBTQ couple and would like to do a couples boudoir session in the woods.

Me: Say no more.

To celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, Asil (they/them) and Hope (she/her) booked a romantic trip to the Oregon Coast. Even though it was December, they insisted on doing an outdoor boudoir session. I, of course, was completely on board with the idea and we all agreed that braving the cold was absolutely worth it. I mean, look at these photos!!

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - sexy outdoor session in a red, velvet cape

This is still one of my favorite sessions and since it got lost with my website crash, I am sharing it again. This time of year feels perfect for this foggy, outdoor session. This cape, which was custom made by Katherine Traeger (formerly Kate Miles) is available for clients to wear during sessions. Just make sure you let me know ahead of time, as some wardrobe pieces are kept at the studio and some at my house.

Salem Boudoir Photographer - outdoor session with an earth goddess

This gorgeous woman and I have been working together for a few years now and these images are actually from our first session together. As soon as she started describing what she wanted, I was like, “YES! We are SO doing this! I even have some location ideas in mind already!” While “Miss S” was technically a client, I still considered this a collaborative project, as she played a big role in the overall vibe, setting, posing, etc. Mama knew what she wanted and just needed someone to bring it to life for her…and to add some artistic flare (pun totally intended).

Oh, and thank you to two of my generous clients, Tiffany and Kayrene, who shared their properties with us for this shoot in Scotts Mills, OR!

Silverton Oregon Boudoir Photographer | outdoor session with a wolf!

Okay, he’s technically a wolf-dog, meaning he’s half wolf and half dog. Ashley is obsessed with wolves and wanted to book a session with Faust for her birthday. So, we got in touch with Wilamette Valley Wolfdogs, as well as the coordinators at the Silver Falls Event & Conference Center to set up this one-of-a-kind photo shoot!

PLEASE NOTE: THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS (subtle) NUDITY.

Salem Boudoir Photographer - Oregon girls are tough and that's all there is to it!

These photos were taken in December. Outdoors. No, not on a rare, warm December afternoon (we don’t have those, haha), but on a typical (i.e. cold!) winter morning here in Salem, Oregon. Not only was this gorgeous Mama willing to strip down in public (secluded, but still public) for her outdoor boudoir session, but she did it without so much as a single “brrrrr” or even a hint of complaint. I kept assuring her we were almost done, but she was all, “Oh, I’m fine. Don’t even worry about it!” She’s not my only client like this, either. You know who you know, my outdoor boudoir clients! I love all my clients, but these outdoorsy girls are something special.
