Boudoir clients are often overwhelmed, when trying to decide what to wear. Sometimes it’s best to just stop overthinking it and keep it simple. Grab a button down shirt from your closet (or your partner’s) and call it good!

Salem Boudoir Photographer - gorgeous curves in a dramatic emerald robe
I am SO excited to have this amazing robe in my boudoir closet, for clients to wear! It’s a gorgeous shade of emerald green, has about 10 million ruffles, and fits a wide range of body types and sizes. Of course, Aly looks good in everything, but I promise this is flattering on just about everyone.
If you would like to wear this during your boudoir session, just make sure you let me know ahead of time, as I have it stored at home, rather than my studio, due to it’s…volume.
Salem Boudoir Photography - evening session with a plus sized beauty
Lauren is a gorgeous and confident plus sized model, so working with her was an absolute pleasure. We shot this after the sun went down, so it was basically dark in my studio. I had a rental camera in my posession and wanted to test out the low light capabilities, so this was a good way to do that.
Salem Boudoir Photographer - beautiful, pinup inspired plus size photos in b&w
Marilyn Monroe meets Elvira meets Bettie Paige.
Salem Boudoir Photographer - Looking fierce in black lace, straps, and tulle.
Um, MILF alert! This mother of four (2 of which are adults…whaaaaa?) looked absolutely BADASS in her sassy lingerie, paired with a black tulle skirt and heels and that is all I really have to say about these photos.
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - b&w boho session with vintage inspired lingerie
In case you haven’t seen it, check out my new headboard for the studio! It’s an adorable, boho inspired rattan piece that is easy to set up and take down. I also purchased some linen sheets in a natural cream color. Ashley joined me in the studio one afternoon, to make some art. She wore an adorable floral lingeriet set, which complimented her curves beautifully. We were fortunate enough to have some of that strong afternoon sun that I love so much for boudoir sessions! As much as I’d love to plan for this light, it’s just too hit or miss, here in Oregon. So, you might get this kind of light for your session (or even just for a few minutes, as the clouds roll by) or you might not. May the odds be ever in your favor.
